Responsibilities

• Development of sustainable, scalable technology solutions that address business needs and support our position as a digital leader in financial services
• Analyze business and user requirements to design and implement new features and services using modern software engineering practices
• Secure and review documentation of clients existing architecture documents
• Leverage understanding of Campaign Management target architecture to support recommendations for data modelling and for application integration in service enablement
• Apply a wide range of development skills, including automated testing, deployment, and monitoring, to ensure delivery of reliable and secure software
• Maintain high standards for quality, security, compliance, and operational readiness by embedding observability and risk management into every stage of the development lifecycle
• Participate in application architecture and design reviews, conduct thorough code reviews, and guide the team through all phases of the SDLC
• Support the transition of software from development to production by establishing proper operational controls and procedures
• Actively engage with and advocate for client needs, ensuring our solutions are intuitive, user-centered, and valuable
• Share knowledge, mentor team members, contribute to internal engineering communities, and support hiring efforts to grow a strong development team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the wealth management space in the finance industry
• Proven experience delivering complex business applications and large-scale enterprise solutions as a software developer
• Strong background in delivering end-to-end solution architecture for medium to large-scale Unica Campaign Management systems, including upgrades and greenfield implementations
• Hands-on experience integrating Unica and Interact with external systems such as Digital Marketing Platforms, CMS, and diverse data sources
• In-depth knowledge of the Unica suite of products, including campaign orchestration, customer journeys, and real-time personalization
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and React; hands-on experience with Spring Boot, messaging systems, caching mechanisms, and cloud platforms is highly desirable
• Experience developing backend services and integration components using Java, including RESTful APIs to support automation and Unica integrations
• 2 years of experience working with Azure cloud services such as Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Event Hubs, and Data Factory
• 2 years of experience with Apache Kafka for real-time messaging and event streaming to trigger marketing campaigns and personalize user experiences
• Expertise in implementing Spring Batch solutions to extract data from multiple data sources
• Strong understanding and practical application of software development standards, methodologies, and best practices as defined by the SDLC
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code
• Effective communicator, capable of producing technical documentation, delivering presentations, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies and practices, with a focus on reusability, strategic alignment, and long-term sustainability
• A strong team player with solid interpersonal skills and a passion for contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.
