About the role

  • Social Creative Director at Dentsu Creative shaping brand presence on social platforms. Leading teams to create innovative, culturally resonant content for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to develop breakthrough social-first ideas across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.)
  • Collaborate with strategy and media teams to ensure ideas are insight-driven, audience-relevant, and aligned with brand goals.
  • Champion new formats, trends, and technologies
  • Build strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the evolving social landscape and selling in bold creative ideas.
  • Mentor and grow a team of social creatives, copywriters, designers, and content creators.
  • Work closely with analytics and media teams to optimize content based on performance data and audience behaviour.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading social creative at a top-tier agency or brand
  • Deep understanding of platform behaviours, trends, and algorithms
  • Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills
  • A portfolio of standout social campaigns that drove real cultural impact
  • Ability to pitch, present, and sell ideas with clarity and passion
  • Collaborative spirit and a hunger to experiment
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams
  • Strong, optimistic leader, with clear vision
  • Evidence of brand platform work, high altitude strat thinking
  • Confident, articulate presenters, comfortable around clients
  • Democratic manner, with ability to galvanise teams and inspire collective energy
