About the role

  • Join pre-sales Design team and assist in production of service designs for clients
  • Engage with clients and prospects to generate interest in Natilik managed services and communicate business benefits
  • Analyse client business requirements and service dependencies to design scalable, reliable, efficient service components
  • Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and design appropriate managed service solutions
  • Produce detailed, clear and concise client-facing documentation and articulate business value in meetings
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and internal stakeholders as a trusted technical solutions advisor
  • Develop and own operational support requirements and service acceptance criteria for new technologies
  • Design and define current, transition and future operating models aligned with ITIL, SIAM and other governance frameworks
  • Work on commercial elements such as pricing during renewals and tender processes
  • Support development of managed service solutions and packages
  • Conduct client workshops demonstrating business value
  • Collaborate with solution architects, service owners, process leads and third-party partners to ensure architectural alignment
  • Influence decision-making by articulating the value and impact of architectural choices on service outcomes

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain security clearance
  • Proven experience as a Service Architect, Service Designer, or Service Lead within a Managed Service Provider or complex IT delivery environments
  • Operational understanding of service supply chains and the IT service environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL in managed service environments (minimum ITIL v3/v4 Foundation; Intermediate or Expert desirable)
  • Ability to map services across layers (front-stage, backstage and systems)
  • Understanding of relevant tooling solutions within the MSP space
  • Experience or familiarity with ITSM service toolsets such as ServiceNow, Halo, Manage Engine, JIRA, Remedy or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to capture client requirements
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from IT analysts to CxO
  • Experience with designing operating models aligned with ITIL, SIAM and governance frameworks
  • Commercial awareness including pricing of proposed services in renewals and tenders
  • Willingness to learn; attention to detail; numerate; analysis and diagnosis; report creation; negotiation skills
