About the role

  • Technical point of contact and interface between Research & Development, Hardware Engineering, and other departments
  • Coordinate and develop the global hardware organization for electrical matters
  • Identify optimal methods and approaches through cost-benefit analyses
  • Design and evaluate hardware architectures
  • Plan and design electrical controls and systems in machine and plant engineering
  • Calculate power requirements, plan grounding requirements, and define electrical installation requirements
  • Create and maintain generatable circuit diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation in EPLAN P8
  • Support and train colleagues in different regions in the use of the toolchain

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience as a technician
  • 3–5 years of experience in development or project execution
  • Solid experience in hardware engineering
  • Strong knowledge of EPLAN P8 (including eStock, eBuild, eManage, ProPanel)
  • Good understanding of the SIMATIC product range
  • Understanding of relevant standards
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) as well as German
  • Strong teamwork skills, intercultural competence, reliability, and ability to work independently
