About the role

  • Support Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) for legal accounts and government contracts
  • Participate in teleconferences and technical meetings to review and support program objectives
  • Perform system configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting on Windows servers
  • Record configuration changes and process storage/migration/decommission tasks
  • Monitor systems, respond to alerts, coordinate vendor and site support, and provide Level 1/Level 2 outage escalation
  • Complete scheduled maintenance, apply patches, and prevent data loss or outages
  • Manage remote environments and process tickets according to SLAs
  • Create PowerShell and VBS scripts to automate routine maintenance tasks
  • Perform daily system monitoring, review logs, and verify backups and scheduled jobs
  • Configure/add new services and facilitate cloud migration efforts
  • Research and recommend automation and improved system administration approaches
  • Prepare technical assessments including tasks, time frames, and effort estimates

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance required
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • Support along with OGC and other FBI Divisions (e.g., CTD)
  • Experience with Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP)
  • Experience with physical and virtualized Windows Servers
  • Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Record configuration change requests through change control board
  • Process storage requests, migrations, and decommission tasks
  • Monitor failed system components and coordinate vendor/site support
  • Respond to monitoring alerts and perform Level 1 and Level 2 escalation
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and apply OS patches and upgrades
  • Prevent data loss and manage backup/restore processes
  • Manage technology in remote environments
  • Review and process tickets per service level agreements in service manager database
  • Create PowerShell and VBS scripts to automate routine tasks
  • Review system and application logs to verify scheduled job completion
  • Configure and add new services as necessary
  • Facilitate migration of system implementations into cloud infrastructures
  • Prepare and review technical assessments and estimates
