About the role
- Lead three high-performing scrum teams (~25 engineers) within the Betting and Integrations segments, driving delivery of the commercial and technical roadmap
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Principal Engineers to plan, prioritize, and execute initiatives, managing capacity, dependencies, and risks
- Act as the technical vision ambassador for your domain, aligning long-term roadmap with business goals
- Oversee people management for direct and indirect reports, including performance reviews, development plans, and PIPs
- Build and maintain a motivated, engaged, high-performing team, fostering continuous growth and resilience
- Proactively address delivery bottlenecks, production incidents, and technical challenges ensuring uptime and performance for large-scale, high-traffic systems
- Strengthen cross-team and cross-tribe collaboration, ensure transparent communication with stakeholders and shield teams from distractions
- Partner closely with the Head of Technology, peers, and key stakeholders to align on priorities, resources, and process improvements
Requirements
- Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams of 25+ members in high-traffic, large-scale systems
- Experience leading three scrum teams (~25 engineers) within Betting and Integrations segments
- Strong technical background with ability to deep-dive into technical details and support incident resolution
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, delivery management, and roadmap execution in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience working in international, multilingual environments
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Leadership style grounded in humility, collaboration, resilience, and a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience with people management tasks including performance reviews, development plans, and PIPs
- Ability to proactively address delivery bottlenecks, production incidents, and technical challenges for large-scale, high-traffic systems
- Nice to have: Knowledge of the betting industry and familiarity with relevant technologies, frameworks, or architectural patterns
