About the role

  • Develop and manage schedules for manufacturing transitions
  • Develop and track technical progress metrics (TPM’s)
  • Develop risk and opportunity management strategies and metrics
  • Support program reviews
  • Utilize superconducting electronics fabrication experience to shape the transition plans for manufacturing lines
  • Coordinate between Chief Engineers, SEIT leads, engineering staff, suppliers, customers, and the PMO to achieve program objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM area with 14+ years of experience or Master's degree in STEM area with 12+ years of experience or PHD in STEM area with 9+ years of experience
  • Deep understanding of superconducting electronics fabrication
  • Experience with all aspects of wafer fabrication line startup, from proposal to first silicon
  • Experience with technology transfer efforts
  • Experience interfacing with Chief Engineers, SEIT leads, engineering staff, suppliers, customers, and the PMO
  • Experience with requirements management
  • Experience leading high-performing technical teams
  • Experience briefing senior NGC management and customers
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
