About the role
- Senior Software Tester at DATAGROUP developing automated tests for web front-end and API. Collaborating closely with developers and project managers to enhance test environments.
Responsibilities
- You design, create and maintain automated tests and test scenarios for the web front-end and APIs
- Executing automated tests, identifying defects and communicating them to the development team are also part of your responsibilities
- You expand our test suites for regression and smoke testing
- Working with Jira, Xray and Katalon is part of your daily routine
- You integrate automated tests into build and deployment pipelines in GitLab
- You analyze specifications and coordinate automation needs with our business consultants and test management
- You round off your working day with close collaboration with developers, testers and project managers (all genders)
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in test automation for web applications and APIs (SOAP and REST)
- Strong knowledge of the programming languages Java and Groovy
- Familiar with Continuous Integration and integrating tests into GitLab pipelines and Docker
- Experience with test-supporting tools such as Xray, Katalon and Gatling
- ISTQB certification: Certified Tester Foundation Level
- Team and communication skills, analytical thinking, structured way of working, and initiative
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least B2)
- Knowledge of BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin rounds off your profile
