- Develop and execute functional and automated test cases to validate application features.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium (basic script-writing knowledge is required).
- Identify, document, and collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
- Run automated regression tests before each release or update.
- Keep test cases, reports, and other software quality artifacts up to date.
- Participate in planning meetings, user story reviews, and acceptance criteria discussions to ensure test alignment with business requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Analyst, or Tester.
- Proven experience in functional testing and test automation.
- Functional testing: Design and execute manual functional tests based on business requirements.
- Automation tools: Experience with Selenium and other test automation tools.
- Scripting/programming languages: Knowledge of Java and/or Python for writing test scripts.
- Version control systems: Familiarity with Git (not mandatory) and knowledge of CI/CD and pipelines.
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Incident management tools: Experience with Azure DevOps, Mantis.
- Web services and API testing: Experience with Postman and SOAPUI.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of the Fintech business domain.
