About the role
- Build and maintain core services in Go and Rust.
- Debug complex problems in a distributed environment and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Lead technical projects from design to delivery.
- Participate in a near monthly on-call rotation during normal business hours.
- Work on the Over-The-Air Updates team to keep massive OpenShift clusters secure and up-to-date.
- Collaborate closely with teammates and the broader open source community.
- Autonomously drive projects while contributing to open source initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with Go or Rust.
- Proven ability to own and deliver features from start to finish.
- Proficiency with container-based applications and the Linux command line (Shell, Git, etc).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, logging, alerting and monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Contributions to open source projects is a plus
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Prometheus, Prow is a plus
- Experience implementing LLM to solve business problems.is a plus
- Participate in a near monthly on-call rotation during normal business hours.
- Role can be based in the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, or Portugal, remote or on site.
