About the role
- Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer leading design of water and wastewater projects at Verdantas, leveraging innovative technologies to address environmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct design of water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection projects from the planning and design phases
- Creating, managing and developing projects to meet desired scope, schedule and budgets
- Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications
- Prepare project cost estimates and schedules
- Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to team of design engineers and technical staff
- Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams
- Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff
- Interaction with regulatory agencies
- Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits
- Client management and development
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience in water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
- Current PE license in OH is required
- Working with municipal and private clients
- Understanding of state and Federal funding opportunities for projects
- Experience in regulatory compliance requirements and permitting
- Strong team leadership experience or proven potential; including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring
- Excellent technical skills in the water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection practice area.
