About the role
- Build applications using Python, Django, and Vue.js
- Provide technical leadership to development teams as the Senior Engineer on projects
- Adhere to and support Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline implementations
- Work independently and in a team environment, guiding more junior developers
- Engage with stakeholders and gather requirements
- Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and follow safeguarding/compliance requirements
- Support proposal efforts including resume formatting, skills summaries, meetings, and solutioning
- Maintain a professional home office environment and participate in video/audio calls during standard working hours
- Occasional travel expected (<10%) for client meetings, team events, or training
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
- 5+ years of Python programming
- 5+ years of Django programming
- 3+ years of Vue.js programming
- 5+ years of database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with API’s and implementing Authentication/Authorization frameworks and standards
- Hands-on developing electronic filing web applications and systems (preferred)
- Experience with developing responsive design websites/applications using CSS frameworks (preferred)
- Knowledge of 3rd-party Identity Verification providers (preferred)
- Knowledge of IAL 1/2 standards (preferred)
- Experience with Unit testing tools (preferred)
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination; Sponsorship is not available
