About the role
- Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead for the Finxact Core as a Service platform at Fiserv. Leading application design and development for banking and financial institution services.
Responsibilities
- Work with business analysts, engineers, and other system users to understand and implement their application requirements
- Have the opportunity to work with partners to understand their implementations and gain a breadth of knowledge in cloud-based SaaS implementations and technologies
- Provide quality software, improve test coverage and the overall quality of the systems
- Provide leadership to other developers on the team and assist them in designing solutions, understanding the principles of financial services software and programming best-practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on financial industry experience in software application design and development for Information Technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, interface development, and/or CRM systems is strongly desired
- Development lead and/or team supervisory experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
- Ability to execute on time-sensitive project deliverables
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as discussing business and technical topics
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and under strict deadline
- Core Banking and/or Financial Services processes and software development experience
- RESTful services, Swagger, Json data interchange, and GIT.
- Strong technical analysis, design, development, and leadership skills
- Must be willing to work under deadlines and be detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and change direction in ever changing environment
- Familiarity with Golang is a plus.
