• SOC Performance Architect working within Intel's Engineering teams. Responsible for delivering performance innovations across XEON CPU and AI portfolio while analyzing and resolving design weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic team environment with design, validation, and architecture teams
• Deliver best-in-class performance and innovations across the XEON CPU and AI portfolio
• Determine, specify and evaluate the viability of complex hardware features
• Ensure software and hardware designs interface correctly
• Design framework for functions
• Define, document and test processes for inclusion into technical platforms
• Identify, analyze and resolve subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses
• Influence the shaping of future products by contributing to the architecture used across design families

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of experience -OR- Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of experience -OR- PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Computer architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in C, C++ or Python.
• 3+ years of experience in Verilog, System/Verilog.
• 5+ years of experience in CPU architecture, performance and power architecture, modelling, pre and post silicon analysis.
