About the role
- Senior SAP ABAP Developer maintaining high-quality SAP applications on S/4HANA platform. Leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers while ensuring best practices in ABAP development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality applications on the SAP S/4HANA platform using ABAP.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, code, test, and debug programs.
- Optimize ABAP programs and systems for optimal performance.
- Analyse and resolve production and development issues.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Possess a solid understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and their integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor / master’s degree in business, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline
- 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 1 years in a lead role.
- Minimum 2 Implementation project(S/4 HANA - 1, ECC - 1) and one support project experience.
- Proven experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and development tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, including SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Fiori.
- Experience with integration technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
- Should possess hands-on experience with SAP technical upgrades, including SPAU and SPAD activities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP S/4 HANA certification in ABAP or SAP BTP.
