About the role
- Sales Operations Senior Analyst joining Baker Tilly to drive analytics and insights supporting revenue growth. Collaborating with sales leadership to enhance operational efficiency through data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex sales data to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities across regions, services, and industries.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates, sales cycle velocity, etc.
- Design and implement advanced forecasting models using historical performance, market trends, and economic indicators to support strategic planning and revenue growth.
- Create and evaluate "what-if" scenarios to assess potential outcomes of strategic decisions and market variables.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform high-level business decisions, strategy development, and goal-setting.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across analytics and reporting.
- Support fiscal year planning through goal modeling and performance forecasting.
- Provide support for New Business Development (NBD) budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as required by leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or sales operations
- Proven expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and forecasting techniques.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes and operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Ability to work in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
