About the role
- Senior QA Engineer responsible for defining test strategies and implementing automation frameworks at P3 Defence in Bucharest. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality through extensive testing.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain comprehensive test strategies (manual & automated) aligned with product requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and security tests to ensure product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage test environments, data sets, and mocks to ensure realistic and repeatable test execution.
- Maintain dashboards, generate test reports, and ensure transparency on product quality metrics.
- Provide support to developers, participate in code reviews (for testability), and contribute to team best practices.
Requirements
- Strong background in software testing (manual + automated).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (UI, API, integration).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
- Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts (containers, cloud environments).
- Experience with security and compliance testing is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
- Comfortable working in agile environments with fast iterations.
