About the role

  • Part-Time Waiver/DDA Program Consultant ensuring compliance with Tennessee state standards and improving agency processes. Evaluating programmatic work and collaborating with the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Review programmatic work ensuring compliance with Tennessee state standards
  • Evaluate Programmatic work to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Review documentation and record retention for correctness according to state standards
  • Answer questions and provide direction on improvements and corrections
  • Assist leadership in implementing accepted recommendations
  • Collaborate with staff to improve effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

  • Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging programs experience
  • Experience in DDA, ECF, CLS, Waiver, Family Model services
  • Ability to prepare necessary reports and records of individuals' program progress with accuracy and completeness
  • Knowledge of practices and techniques of programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Computer skills, as the agency is paperless
  • Flexibility and organization
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Good communication skills
