About the role
- Senior QA Analyst ensuring software quality in a technology team. Responsibilities include testing strategy planning and implementation within an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design test cases, scenarios, and test scripts (functional, regression, integration, performance, and security);
- Create, maintain, and enhance automated tests (front-end and back-end);
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and identified defects;
- Work with development teams to identify and fix bugs;
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily, planning, review, and retrospective);
- Perform exploratory and usability testing to ensure the best user experience;
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes by proposing best practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
- Proven experience with test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium;
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodology (active participation in squads or agile teams);
- Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.);
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Newman, REST Assured, etc.);
- Proficiency with version control (Git);
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#;
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, k6);
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools;
- QA certifications such as ISTQB or similar.
