About the role

  • Lead and oversee a Property Management team to achieve KPIs and deliver high service levels to landlords and tenants
  • Act as point of contact for tenants and landlords, handling inquiries, booking appointments and managing tenancies from start to finish
  • Discuss and assume responsibility for staff interviews, local inductions, local training, appraisals, coaching and development
  • Hold and attend team and branch meetings and advise branch managers on matters requiring attention
  • Respond promptly to internal and external complaints and report legal letters/notices to appropriate managers
  • Manage inspections and safety checks (including gas safety), organise remedial works, obtain estimates, issue work orders and pay invoices
  • Receive End of Tenancy Reports, advise on deposit deductions and finalise release of security deposits in line with scheme rules
  • Ensure diary is kept up-to-date to monitor outstanding matters and liaise with letting offices and client account departments
  • Ensure appropriate charges are made for services rendered, serve notices, negotiate extensions and renewals

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Property Manager or Senior Property Manager
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to manage tenancies, inspections, safety checks, remedial works, deposits, and notices
  • Experience handling landlord and tenant correspondence, complaints and investigations
  • Achieving and maintaining relevant industry qualifications (expected)
