- Managing all aspects of diverse projects requiring technical knowledge and expertise
- Use project management tools including VES (it/engineering/scientific) and lead, coordinate, and facilitate cross-functional technical teams
- Track, communicate, and report on the issues and status updates for projects
- Manage multiple projects at one time with team, cross-functional teams including scope, schedule, and cost
- Provide support to Sales during budget and proposal phase of projects on strategies for success
- Review and comment on contract specifications during the proposal phase of the project
- Review purchase orders and contracts as well coordinate order entry and purchase order approval process
- Maintain and improve project variable contribution margins through effective change management
Requirements
- 4 year degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience in a technical field (product, design, drafting) with 15 or more years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of project life cycle
- Experience working with cross-functional technical discipline teams
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in customer relations and negotiations
- A work and travel permit to the US is a requirement for this position.
