About the role

  • Support with developing and executing the company's overall mission, values, and strategic goals

  • Serve as a role model and mentor to junior engineers
  • Coordinate and perform ASHRAE Levels 1, 2 & 3 Commercial Building Energy Audits
  • Prepare project feasibility assessments, scopes of work, savings calculations, draft M&V plans, and investment grade audit reports
  • Review, analyze and prepare conceptual and detailed design documents, bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for facility improvement measures (FIMs)
  • Support engineering activities during project development, construction, project commissioning, and operations
  • Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide engineering and project development best practices
  • Maintain awareness of new technologies, strategies, industry developments and standards
  • Promote an injury free work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent field of study
  • Five (5) or more years of industry experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of performance contracting, design-build construction, and delivery of projects to the MUSH market
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • An innovative and motivational mentality
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and goal oriented
  • Ability to travel up to 35%
