Conduct schedule analytics to assess schedule quality, determine and report on project progress, and monitor contractor compliance with schedule-related contractual requirements.
Collaborate with project management to identify, characterize, document, and register project risks, and develop formal mitigation plans per established standards.
Collaborate with cost analysts to prepare, maintain, and issue required cost reports and financial forecasts.
Assist in the analysis, optimization, and reporting of the corporate project portfolio, including risk assessments relative to multi-year budget plans.
Manage and provide data for all project reporting, including required regulatory reporting.
Implement and enforce all project controls standards concerning cost, schedule, scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and risk/issues management for assigned projects.
Conduct independent project assessments to ensure project compliance and internal management standards.
Verify that contract agreements incorporate necessary project controls requirements and ensure contractors implement controls in strict alignment with those requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 8 years equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree in addition to required years of experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Controls scheduling, cost, estimating or planning. Oil & Gas and Engineering project experience is essential.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based analytics.
Knowledge of project and construction management fundamentals.
