Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions across transportation, logistics, pricing, and operational functions.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate rate structures, freight spend, and profitability across modes and regions.
Own and optimize pricing models, KPIs, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making and operational execution.
Design data models that incorporate market conditions, seasonality, volume fluctuations, and mode-specific dynamics (FTL, LTL, parcel).
Oversee freight audit and payment analytics, including invoice accuracy, exception tracking, claims recovery, and month-end accrual validation.
Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to track performance metrics such as cost per unit, exception rates, carrier compliance, and payment timeliness.
Serve as the primary analytics liaison to Transportation, Finance, Sourcing, and Commercial teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (master’s preferred).
8–10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or logistics finance, preferably within high-volume distribution or wholesale environments.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL or BigQuery.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and freight payment platforms (e.g., Cass).
Strong financial modeling, data visualization, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
