About the role
- Senior Product Owner responsible for defining trading platforms' vision and roadmap at IC Markets. Collaborating with teams to optimize performance and ensure compliance in fast-paced FinTech environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, and overall roadmap for trading platforms.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, internal development teams, UX designers, and end-users.
- Gather and analyze competition, market trends, customer feedback, and business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
- Conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder updates.
- Work with the development team to establish a clear definition of “done” and plan release cycles.
- Monitor product performance through analytics and user feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of trading platforms such as MT4, MT5, CTrader, DevExperts,TradingView.
- Good understanding of forex, CFDs, and financial markets.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a proven track record of delivering software products.
- Knowledge of APIs, trading technologies, and platform integrations is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial trading is an advantage.
