Responsibilities
Collect market requirements and associated business opportunities for Fiber Access Products.
Work with PLM peers and R&D to define the product roadmap that will allow matching the financial targets of the Business Line.
Translate customer needs into clearly defined solution and product requirements considering available solutions and competitive environment.
Keep update competitive environment and technologies to support responses to vulnerabilities and leverage strengths and differentiators.
Collaborate with Sales and Pre-sales team to grow the adoption of Fiber Access solution into customers' network.
Requirements
Degree in computer, electrical, software, or systems engineering, or physics, computer science, or relevant related field is required.
5+ years of product management experience or Access network System and Architecture design and development.
Consulting engineering/network architect experience with a demonstrated understanding of market requirements of passive optical network.
International working experience at regional level or in a multi-country environment is required.
Deep knowledge of xPON technology and ITU related standards.
Deep knowledge of Fiber access solutions, ODN architectures and redundancy scheme and xPON performance KPI.
Deep knowledge of OMCI specification and associated interoperability aspects.
Deep knowledge of Synchronization network and related standards
Proficient with packet networking technologies (Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS,) and knowledgeable in current and emerging standards in both packet and PON domains (IEEE, MEF, IETF, ITU-T).
Knowledgeable of IPT and HSI service delivery models.
Knowledgeable of network automation aspects related to access networks.
Excellent understanding of the industry landscape, including customers, potential partners, direct competitors and competing and emerging technologies and architectures.
