About the role
- Senior Platform Engineer modernizing CBA's artifact management capabilities while supporting migration to cloud solutions. Engaging in key architectural decisions and operational excellence practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the migration from on-premises to SaaS solutions with minimal disruption
- Engage in design discussions and provide valuable input for architectural decisions
- Implement automations to enhance platform efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational processes
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
- Participate in DevOps practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform engineering processes
- Provide support and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale migration initiatives, particularly from on-premises to SaaS
- Strong understanding of cloud services, architecture, and networking
- Proficiency in DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Experience in highly regulated enterprises with a focus on security and controls compliance
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Python
- A passion for solving complex problems and driving engineering excellence.
