About the role

  • Brand Management Platform Engineer optimizing brand management systems like Frontify and Papirfly for Baranek & Renger GmbH. Working in a hybrid role that enhances digital branding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, configuration and maintenance of brand management platforms (in particular Frontify & Papirfly)
  • Development and further refinement of brand guidelines within the systems
  • Implementation and enhancement of DAM structures including taxonomy, metadata logic, tagging and governance
  • Establishment of access control, role models and workflows
  • Support in developing scalable system logics: templates, modules, standard processes
  • Technical coordination with software providers (e.g., on features, extensions, roadmaps)
  • Small integrations and automations (e.g., via APIs, webhooks, low-code/no-code)
  • Participation in the further development of our AI-supported processes around content, structuring and asset management

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, structures and processes
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, TYPO3, Contentful or similar) and confident handling of content structures
  • Basic understanding of APIs / interface logic (REST, webhooks, etc.)
  • Interest in AI tools and their sensible application in content and asset workflows
  • Experience with Frontify, Papirfly, Bynder or similar is helpful but not required
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate with our mostly international clients
  • Desire for continuous learning and personal development
  • Self‑initiative, a sense of responsibility and the drive to see things through to completion
  • Enjoy direct coordination in a small team setup
  • Clear communication: structured, solution-oriented, pragmatic
