About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of internal tools and platform services that simplify developer workflows.
- Refine and evolve our infrastructure-as-code configurations and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Foster a knowledge-sharing culture by creating clear, comprehensive documentation and resources.
- Proactively communicate platform updates, roadmaps, and priorities.
- Provide expert consultation and support to empower project teams, emphasizing primarily self-service capabilities.
- Work closely with Delivery Teams to identify and propose solutions for technical debt and future-focused challenges.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), GitOps (Argo CD, Helm, Kustomize), CI/CD systems, and observability stacks.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration and core networking principles.
- Customer-centric approach to internal platforms with a focus on understanding developer needs.
- Fluent in English (C1); basic German language skills are a plus.
