About the role
- Platform Infrastructure Engineer specializing in enterprise-grade platform services for hybrid or on-prem environments. Focused on infrastructure engineering, distributed systems, and platform automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade platform services across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments
- Build and maintain cloud-like infrastructure capabilities, including compute, storage, data processing, and observability
- Architect scalable and resilient systems to support modern, distributed workloads
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Drive GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows
- Administer and operate Kubernetes clusters, including advanced workload management and cluster-level operations
- Design and manage distributed storage systems (e.g., S3-compatible solutions such as MinIO)
- Deploy and maintain distributed caching systems (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
- Implement and manage on-premise big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop ecosystem)
Requirements
- Proven experience in platform or infrastructure engineering roles across cloud and on-prem environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- GitOps practices (Argo CD)
- CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
- Kubernetes (advanced usage and cluster administration)
- Experience building and operating distributed systems, including storage and caching layers
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing big data infrastructure (e.g., Hadoop)
