About the role
- Senior Operations Manager overseeing regional analytics for Shipt, focusing on data-driven insights and strategic reporting. Collaborating with leadership to enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence and high customer satisfaction through data-driven insights and strategy
- Build and manage the reporting infrastructure that powers strategic decision-making across operations
- Collaborate with Regional Operations leadership to deliver reliable, scalable dashboards and reporting tools
- Own and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting tools for monitoring key performance metrics
- Act as the go-to partner for regional operations leadership to understand and act on performance trends
- Support and help grow other analysts within the team
- Translate complex data into digestible, timely reports for decision-making
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Product Analytics
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows
Requirements
- 6 years experience in operations, analytics, or reporting
- 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Strong SQL skills
- Fluent in Excel/Google sheets
- Experience with BI tools or coding (e.g., PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Tableau, Python)
- Background in logistics, gig economy, or tech-enabled ops preferred
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent at translating data into insights for non-technical teams
- Track record of improving reporting systems and team efficiency
- Bachelor’s in a quantitative field; advanced degree is a plus
