Responsibilities
- Investigate and fix incidents, failures, and bugs in Node.js applications;
- Analyze logs, traces, queues, and metrics (via Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, etc.) to identify root causes;
- Implement code fixes and adjustments with a focus on stability, security, and best practices;
- Perform unit and regression tests after fixes and validations;
- Support the production support team in improving observability, availability, and application performance;
- Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and adherence to architectural standards;
- Contribute to technical documentation, incident history, and remediation procedures;
- Work collaboratively with QA, SRE, and Development teams, promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript (or JavaScript)
- Additional knowledge of PHP
- Experience with RabbitMQ and event-driven architecture
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB (queries, indexes, tuning, and data modeling)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (containers, deployments, and troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS and observability principles (logs, metrics, alerts)
