Responsibilities
- Administers, maintains, and evolves next-generation networking technologies in alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture standards
- Conducts proactive lifecycle maintenance of network infrastructure—including firmware updates, software-defined networking (SDN) policy updates, patching, and cloud-managed service integration
- Troubleshoots and resolves advanced, multi-layer network issues involving routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and cloud connectivity across hybrid and remote environments
- Designs, configures, and supports network platforms including Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Meraki (cloud-managed), Aruba, Palo Alto NGFWs, and Check Point security gateways
- Leads or co-leads enterprise infrastructure projects such as cloud connectivity, SD-WAN deployments, network segmentation, and zero trust architecture rollouts
Requirements
- education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education
- Required Licensure/certification: Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS, Preferred, Cisco CCNP or higher (e.g., CCIE), Preferred, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Preferred
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience, with a focus on complex, high-availability environments
- Deep technical knowledge in routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs, wireless and firewalls, Required
