About the role

  • Understand and address business needs/issues of respective clients
  • Manage multiple survey-based market research projects at once, within timeline, including working closely with colleagues in other service lines to oversee all components of projects, and coaching junior staff to develop their project management and research skills
  • Design plan analyses
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions; prepare reports and presentations; make recommendations based on the insights that address the client’s business needs
  • Assist in proposal development with senior colleagues as needed
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and consultation
  • May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Research Analysts. Includes overseeing training schedule, day-to-day guidance and supervision, and providing feedback (both ongoing and during annual review and goal setting)

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience (supplier side market research preferred)
  • Experience working with Food & Beverage and/or Foodservice is an asset
  • Requires strong quantitative, research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to turn data into insights through analysis and storytelling
  • Ability to oversee and direct multiple projects
  • Must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial (i.e., ability to think independently)
  • Intellectually curious with a desire to better understand the “why” behind the data
  • Works well in a team environment with senior and junior colleagues
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to review the work of others for grammar, formatting, and voice
  • Bachelor’s Degree required – market research, marketing, and/or business coursework/programs are an asset
