Responsibilities
Assume team responsibility in a project lead capacity, including ensuring the personal development of team members and the holistic coordination of tasks within the team
Identify potential and contribute substantially to the operational and strategic development of the Restructuring practice area
Play a central role in preparing restructuring concepts and insolvency/restructuring expert reports
Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop successful solutions and support clients with implementation
Discuss business models and strategies, and identify restructuring levers across the company lifecycle
Prepare and validate medium- and long-term integrated corporate plans
Drive internal initiatives (e.g., knowledge exchange, WAYES Academy) and projects within the Restructuring practice area
Requirements
University degree in economics, engineering, natural sciences (ideally with a focus on finance and/or controlling)
Several years of professional experience in a consulting context with a focus on restructuring/turnaround and a track record of successfully completed projects
Solid expertise in financial analysis, integrated planning and cash flow forecasting
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to grasp complex problems effectively and approach them efficiently and solution-focused
Experience independently preparing IDW S6 concepts and going-concern forecasts
An existing network in the industry, ideally including business development/acquisition experience
Excellent presentation and communication skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders
Strong solution orientation and implementation capability
Enjoy working in (changing) project teams and experience leading and supporting teams
Willingness to travel 40–50% within Germany
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Business fluent German and very good English
