About the role
- Senior Manager managing global trade compliance and licensing for L3Harris Technologies. Overseeing trade regulations, submissions and compliance training for import/export requirements.
Responsibilities
- Focus on reviewing and submitting trade related license applications for L3Harris import and export requirements
- Managing Global Trade Compliance licensing staff
- Advising on usage and requirements for ITAR Exemptions and EAR Exceptions
- Record keeping activities as identified in the ITAR and EAR
- Development, implement, and disseminate training related to L3Harris internal trade policies and procedures
- Interfaces with Global Trade Compliance professionals and L3Harris Segment and Corporate leaders
- Report to the Director, Global Trade Compliance, Licensing
- Support the Global Trade Licensing Team
- Collaborate with various business units and corporate staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior experience in trade compliance or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance at the SECRET level
- Strongly prefer prior experience as an Empowered Official or US Government regulator
- Experience with drafting and submitting ITAR and EAR license applications
- Experience with ITAR Exemptions and EAR Exceptions
- Experience with OCR EASE
