• Senior Manager in Data Analytics and Insights for Fidelity Investments, leveraging advanced analytics and quantitative methods. Leading complex projects to support business decision-making and collaborating with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Manager, Adv Data Analysis and Insights acts as a domain expert who develops targeted research and insights required to support business decision making using advanced analytics and quantitative methods.
• This role leads complex projects with a functional divisional impact, demonstrates strategic thinking, tactical planning, and has strong understanding of advanced analytics and python skills.
• This role serves as key business communicator with senior leaders, sponsors, and peers, collaborating with them to create key findings for sophisticated business problems.
• We collaborate as squad members and work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent Degree with 6+ years of experience working with data insight solutioning.
• Preferred BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in solving business problems using Business Statistics, Quantitative methods with ability to deliver speedy outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
• Expertise with data workflow tools, solid understanding of data and database concepts, tools, and technologies with ability to optimize and drive scale.
• Expertise with writing and decoding SQL and Python scripts, and proven experience working with Python libraries.
• Proficient with BI (Business Intelligence) and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Takes a consultative approach understanding needs of others and regularly communicating ideas or suggestions in terms that lead to actionable outcomes and building lasting partnerships with stakeholders.
• Understanding of BI product life cycle and experience working with large data sets, preferred Agile experience, preferred Presentation experience to Executive and Senior Leadership, preferred Financial services experience, preferred.
