About the role

  • Design, create, and iterate on competitive game maps, defining their topology and primary and secondary objectives.
  • Script interactive elements related to the gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines within a multidisciplinary team, including, among others, artists and programmers.
  • Share ideas and recommendations across projects.
  • Validate the playability of environments with Testers, Level Artists, Gameplay Programmers, and others.
  • Ensure the quality and technical feasibility of your levels and their constituent elements.
  • Help push the limits of our internal tools necessary to create high-quality games.
  • Create and maintain level-related design documentation.
  • Provide mentorship to less-experienced team members.

Requirements

  • At least 7–8 years of Level Design experience on multiple AA/AAA projects, including at least one shipped title;
  • Strong logical reasoning, high design rigor, and good situational adaptability;
  • Energetic, responsive, motivated and engaged — passionate about video games with a solid knowledge of gaming culture;
  • A strong interest in competitive games;
  • Experience with visual scripting (e.g., Unreal Blueprint);
  • Proficiency with game editors such as Unreal Engine and Unity;
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (3ds Max, Maya, Blender) is a plus.
