About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead digital governance and regulatory compliance projects, including Brazil's LGPD, the Marco Civil da Internet, ANPD regulations, and AI-related regulation;
- Coordinate data processing mappings, risk assessments, DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), and mitigation plans;
- Draft and review technology contracts, internal policies, terms of use, privacy notices, and complex legal opinions;
- Manage information security incidents, coordinating legal responses and regulatory communications;
- Represent the organization before authorities and stakeholders, including the ANPD and other regulatory bodies;
- Monitor national and international legislative and regulatory trends in data protection, AI, and digital liability, proposing measures for compliance and governance.
Requirements
- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
- Postgraduate degree or certification in data protection, digital law, compliance, or technology regulation;
- Solid experience in LGPD compliance projects, technology regulation, digital contracts, and risk management;
- Advanced knowledge of international standards (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 42001, etc.) is a plus;
- Advanced or fluent English;
- Previous experience coordinating teams, providing technical leadership, or liaising with regulatory authorities.
