About the role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration test plans to validate interoperability across applications, databases, APIs, and services
  • Ensure coverage of end-to-end workflows reflecting real business scenarios and user journeys
  • Establish traceability from Epics → Features → Stories → Test Cases per SAFe 6.0 best practices
  • Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and DevOps to embed quality and apply automated regression and integration testing within CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor quality metrics (defect leakage, code coverage, system reliability) and ensure compliance with USDA Quality Assurance standards
  • Support PI Planning, Iteration Reviews, and System Demos by providing evidence of integration readiness and validation results
  • Identify, log, and manage integration-related defects through to resolution and analyze defect trends
  • Mentor junior testers and promote automation adoption and quality accountability across ARTs
  • Perform general duty requirements and occasional travel for client engagement or at AttainX facility

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance
  • At least 3+ years in integration/system-level testing in complex enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated experience in federal IT modernization programs with multiple systems, interfaces, and dependencies
  • Expertise in testing APIs, middleware, data exchanges, and system workflows across legacy and cloud-native applications
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Postman)
  • CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS pipelines)
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and Agile planning tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail)
  • Solid understanding of SAFe 6.0 principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
