About the role
- Deep expertise in networking (BGP, MPLS, VPNs), storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization.
- Proven experience in fintech or other regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of backup, DR, and HA design patterns.
- Familiarity with ITSM practices and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
- Exposure to cloud-connectivity architectures and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Integrate on-prem workloads with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with complaince like PCI DSS or SOC 2
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
