About the role
- Build features that make Confluence and Jira Service Management easier, more personal, and more enjoyable for thousands of users
- Work closely with product team to turn ideas into customer-facing experiences
- Join a cross-functional product team and participate in decisions about tech stack, roadmap, and ways of working
- Set realistic goals, maintain craftsmanship, and release features when ready while keeping high quality
- Keep the tech resilient, modern, and innovative
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Test Automation Engineers
- Participate in continuous release processes and maintain high-quality integration across stages
- First-year milestones: integrate and complete onboarding tasks (30 days); take ownership of medium tasks (90 days); suggest process improvements and build cross-team connections (180 days)
Requirements
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) in full-stack development
- Hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects and meeting Non-Functional Requirements
- Experience guiding technical decisions and mentoring others
- Curiosity and ability to question and improve existing approaches
- Structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Skilled in JavaScript-based front-end frameworks (Vue.js or similar)
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with Node.js and building REST APIs
- Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Prior experience with code reviews, technical discussions, and the full development lifecycle
- Prioritizes code quality, security, and performance
