About the role
- Build and maintain modern, responsive, and accessible web applications
- Translate user and business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Lead development of new features from concept to deployment
- Write well-tested frontend code using React and TypeScript following best practices
- Design and build APIs on cloud infrastructure
- Write applications and services running on company devices/scanners
- Set up and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with designers, hardware engineers, and software developers
- Potential to grow into a leadership role and mentor others
Requirements
- Passion for healthcare and desire to make a positive impact
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications
- Proficient in React, Node.js, and TypeScript; writes clean, maintainable code
- Good eye for detail
- Extensive experience with databases and cloud infrastructure
- Experience writing automated tests (Playwright, Jest, etc.)
- Experience with Electron for desktop applications
- Experience with Sequelize and PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and building APIs
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)
- Able to take lead on projects and mentor junior team members
- Able to shape and guide the technology stack
