Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems
Oversee the training and development of the hierarchy
Engage in strategic oversight and management of work in a specific area of expertise
Managing processes and preparing work orders to achieve success for capital improvement residential projects
Maintaining relationships with land developers and home builders through timely execution of their project work plans
Collaborate closely with Resource Optimization Planners and Schedulers, Operations Construction, and Operations Contractor Partners
Perform customer communication, planning, engineering, coordination, and administration of Residential Development Project Team underground subdivision work
Conduct field investigation and designs using standardized design tools and applications for RDT projects
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent) AND six (6)+ years minimum required related experience
Associates degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent) AND eight (8)+ years minimum required related experience
In lieu of degree(s) and experience listed above, High School/GED AND 12+ years minimum required related experience
Increasingly proficient in applying principles of project management
Experience in the utility industry
Department specific experience applicable to the hiring department
Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles
Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations
Electric utility distribution design experience
Maximo software experience
BOUD software experience
Effective time management skills
