About the role
- Manage and execute site capital projects up to $5M for Solenis, a specialty chemicals company. Lead scope, budgets, construction phases, and ensure safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing multiple ongoing growth and cost saving projects.
- Manage projects at site up to $5 million, working with internal and external teams to execute the capital budget plan.
- Plan and execute engineering and construction phases to project requirements and corporate standards to execute capital expenditure plan.
- Develop project scope definition and lead project execution.
- Support plant manager with annual capex planning.
- Maintain overall capital budget for the site.
- Ensure safety & compliance are central to project management.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a chemical operation.
- Capital Project Management experience - including projects > 1M.
- Familiarity with engineering codes and standards.
- Ability to travel domestically <25%.
