Senior Civil Structural Engineer contributing to nuclear power plant design and analysis. Collaborating in a global team to deliver New Nuclear Plant Projects in a technical leadership role.
Responsibilities
Provide system design deliverables including specifications and structural analysis
Perform Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI) analysis of Nuclear Power Plant Safety-Related Structures
Perform design and analysis of structures per relevant codes
Conduct Static and Dynamic analysis using computer codes
Define hydrodynamic input loads for dynamic response calculations
Analyze effects on structures from external forces
Develop engineering reports and licensing documentation
Interface with customers and regulatory authorities on technical issues
Lead design analyses and verifications for BWR structural systems
Ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements
Deliver equipment packages and documentation in accordance to contract requirements
Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Engineering
Professional Engineer registration in a U.S. state or Canadian P. Eng registration
Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy business (nuclear preferred) or equivalent technical environment
Minimum of 3 years of nuclear power plant BOP/TI design and/or operation experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a program or technical leadership role
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with customers, regulators, and suppliers
Willing to travel up to 25% domestic and international
