• Senior Civil Structural Engineer contributing to nuclear power plant design and analysis. Collaborating in a global team to deliver New Nuclear Plant Projects in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design deliverables including specifications and structural analysis
• Perform Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI) analysis of Nuclear Power Plant Safety-Related Structures
• Perform design and analysis of structures per relevant codes
• Conduct Static and Dynamic analysis using computer codes
• Define hydrodynamic input loads for dynamic response calculations
• Analyze effects on structures from external forces
• Develop engineering reports and licensing documentation
• Interface with customers and regulatory authorities on technical issues
• Lead design analyses and verifications for BWR structural systems
• Ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements
• Deliver equipment packages and documentation in accordance to contract requirements

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration in a U.S. state or Canadian P. Eng registration
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy business (nuclear preferred) or equivalent technical environment
• Minimum of 3 years of nuclear power plant BOP/TI design and/or operation experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a program or technical leadership role
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with customers, regulators, and suppliers
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestic and international
