About the role
- Senior Director, Clinical Operations overseeing clinical strategy and patient safety for a leading kidney care provider. Collaborating with external leaders and internal departments across multiple states.
Responsibilities
- Setting the clinical strategy, driving high-quality outcomes and patient safety, and overseeing clinical education
- Building relationships with external clinical leaders and collaborating with internal departments
- Leading the Group’s Clinical Landscape and strategic clinical alignment for outcomes, quality, and safety
- Identifying issues in quality, safety, and outcomes, creating action and implementation plans
- Providing on-site support for large safety issues or Immediate Jeopardy surveys
- Coaching MCS and DCS where underperforming or struggling with difficult relationships
- Acting as a strategic field partner to provide feedback and support components of the Clinical Strategy
- Orchestrating the right clinical actions across the Group
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in clinical services management
- Minimum of 8-10 years of clinical experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes
- Specialized experience in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Current RN license in the state of practice with no Board of Nursing disciplinary actions
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in the state of residence.
