About the role
- Senior Digital Proposal Engineer specializing in automation solutions for oil & gas projects. Leading proposal development and ensuring compliance with client specifications in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end proposal development for automation and artificial lift systems.
- Analyze RFQs, prepare technical and commercial offers, and ensure timely submission.
- Able to estimate engineering hours for solutions involving SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT platforms.
- Provide Digital Solution Proposal for digital oil field mainly artificial lift methods i.e. ESP, PCP, SRP, GL etc.
- Prepare detailed cost sheets, cashflow, resource allocation, and engineering effort estimates.
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to clarify technical requirements.
- Ensure proposals meet industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in proposal engineering for oil & gas automation projects.
- Good knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift).
- Expertise in SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Communication Protocols i.e. Modbus TCP, MQTT and fundamental understanding of OT/IT Integration.
