Responsible for DevOps and CloudOps coordination at an innovative healthcare tech company in Hamburg. Focusing on security standards, CI/CD processes, and IT systems monitoring.
Responsibilities
Technical responsibility for DevSys & Ops and coordination of a three-person team
Designing and operating monitoring and oversight of production IT systems and their services (Observability)
Implementing and ensuring compliance with current security standards for software and IT systems used within the business unit (SecOps)
Developing and implementing new CI/CD processes for development (DevOps) and IT infrastructure (SysOps)
Capacity and implementation planning to further develop the solution or to deliver strategic objectives and/or projects affecting the solution
Monitoring and controlling planning estimates throughout the implementation period
Contributing to the company’s strategic development and communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to transparently report progress and potential risks
In this context: identifying and implementing security requirements in collaboration with IT security officers
Additionally, you will be a member of the ISMS, Data Protection & Certifications committee
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field, or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
Several years of experience in system architecture and DevOps
Solid knowledge in administering Linux-based web servers (LEMP stack)
Strong expertise in monitoring & observability
Solid knowledge of common cloud provider technologies and their APIs (we use Hetzner Cloud) and infrastructure management
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD processes (e.g., GitLab or Jenkins)
Deep experience in provisioning and orchestrating systems and services via IaC (Infrastructure as Code), e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
Advantage: experience in software development and scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Knowledge of security requirements and best practices for scalable and secure architectures (SecOps)
Knowledge in project and requirements management
