Responsibilities
- As CUJU’s first Senior Data Scientist, you'll pioneer our data science initiatives, harnessing massive datasets of player performance to unlock new insights and products.
- Your analyses and predictive models will directly influence strategic decision-making, enhance player development, and revolutionize how football talent is identified and nurtured.
- Data Exploration & Modeling: Analyze extensive datasets from player performance, training sessions, and diagnostic assessments to uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
- Predictive Analytics: Develop robust predictive models using machine learning, statistical analysis, and advanced analytics techniques to forecast performance, injury risks, and talent potential.
- Data Product Development: Collaborate closely with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to translate analytical insights into innovative, data-driven product features and offerings.
- Strategic Influence: Drive data-driven decision-making across product development, business strategy, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist and 3 years of them in production, ideally within performance analytics, sports analytics, or related fields.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, predictive analytics, and big data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proven ability to translate complex data insights into clear, impactful business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
